Haji M. Shahul Hameed has been in the marine products industry since the 1980s — long before international certification frameworks like GMP+ or ISO 22000 existed. When he founded Hameed Marine Private Limited in 2015, four decades of production knowledge came with it.
His M.Com qualification added the commercial layer: cost structure, export documentation, buyer negotiation alongside his technical depth. Today he remains directly involved in quality oversight and technical discussions with buyers. When a procurement team has a question about a Certificate of Analysis or a specification parameter, it reaches someone who has spent forty years understanding exactly why that parameter matters.

His role today spans international business development, export operations, buyer communication, and the commercial side of the supplier qualification process. His market orientation and modern systems thinking took
Hameed Marine to 8+ countries by 2022.
